Description : Boiling water for tea is rarely this much fun. Watch water go from the cold calm to rapid boil in this stylish, easy-to-use kettle. 60 ounces.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

1st Customer Review : Good, but could use a few simple design improvements
This was a good selection for me because I specifically did not want a whistling kettle, and I am tired of the decay and discoloration I've experienced with metal tea kettles. Other reviewers are right - it seems flimsy, especially the handle, so I set my electric stove setting on medium, not medium high, as I used to. It does seem to boil water more quickly, but that may just be my perception, since I could never actually see the water boiling in the metal tea kettles.
I'll use it as long as it lasts, but I am concerned about how easily it might break, especially the handle. Another negative - if you tip it all the way to empty the last drop of water, the cover falls off. If I were the manufacturer, I would offer an optional whistle, make the handle more substantial and design a more secure cover.

2nd Customer Review : Poor Ergonomics
I have been searching for a good teapot for my GE monogram digital electric cooktop. My teapot did not pour well and always dribbled. This one looked good in the pictures, and fared well in the reviews, so I bought it. But there are several downsides that are making me weigh whether it's worth the struggle to return.
Pros
1. Despite the thinness, it has not broken and the light weight is really nice
2. Pours very well and does not drip
3. Looks beautiful with the redness of the range heat coming up through the glass bottom
Cons
1. Cover falls off when you pour. It fell off and burned my hand
2. Had to turn the range sensor off to get it to work on my range
3. Poorly balanced. Hard to hold and pour. It tries to rotate in your hand due to the position of the handle and the weight of the liquid
4. Not enough capacity. It should be 25% bigger
5. Doesn't whistle. Though this is minor, I found that I do like the whistle on...
3rd Customer Review : don't listen to poor reviews!
i never really review things but felt the need in this instance. i think it is a bit unfair that this tea kettle received a couple of bad reviews, seeing how the people who did this never actually had any problems with it (merely there perception!).
the tea kettle is beautiful and simple. it is glass and like all glass must be handled differently than other materials (ex. don't add cold water to a hot glass container - which is common sense to me). but if you treat it properly, you shouldn't have any problems. the only slight incovenience is that it has no whistle (alhtough i knew that before i bought it, so it's not the manuf.'s fault).
honestly, if you like glass, don't get distracted with the poor reviews. i've had mine for a bit and haven't had ANY problems (and it's really nice to look at!).
