1st Customer Review : Nice cooker but capacity misleading?
Nice stainless steel liner rice cooker. The steel appears of high quality and rice cooks very well in it. Must be careful to tilt the lid to allow steam to escape while cooking or there will be a mess. The hole in the lid is not sufficient to prevent overflow of bubbles and steam during cooking. After cooking would also not leave it on the "warm " setting too long or the rice will get brown at the bottom of the pot.
Now the capacity- I cooked 4 cups (uncooked measurement) of rice once and when done, the cooked rice came within 1 inch of the top. I dont think this thing can cook more than 5 cups of raw rice without overflowing.
The markings inside the steel liner maxes out at 10 cups. so why is this listed as 20 cup capacity- even the box says 20 cups???

2nd Customer Review : Nice stainless steel
Once i got it,i really loved it.So i started to wash it.But after i rinse it,has a small dot peeling in the bottom of stainless bowl.Just so sad because i never use it and its peeling.My husband said its ok.That's why i use stainless because non toxic like teflon,but it going to leak or leach to the rice.But over all,i loved it!
3rd Customer Review : No "OFF" switch
I’m kind of disappointed that there is no “OFF” switch. Once the rice is cook it stays on ‘warm’ meaning the only way to shut it off is by unplugging it.
Also the ‘vent hole’ in the lid at times excretes so much water that by the time the rice is cook there quite a puddle on the counter top.
