1st Customer Review : Great for Vegetables
Very nice steamer - I use it a lot for vegetables like asparagus. One thing I was worried about was whether it would fit in my pots properly, but the graduated ridges work fine with two of my pots. The fact that this one comes with a glass top make it worth the extra money. The only negative is that the handles can get hot, so be careful.

2nd Customer Review : A bit on the smaller side
Inner diameter at the top - 8in; depth - 4 in. Tapers slightly towards the bottom.
What it fits: [From the box] fits Calphalon Professional Hard-Anodized, Calphalon Commercial Nonstick and Calphalon Professional Nonstick; fits 2.5,3.5 and 4.5 qt. sauce pans & sauce pots
I found it also fits 2.5 and 4.5 qt. pots from Calphalon Tri-Ply set Calphalon Tri-Ply Stainless-Steel 13-Piece Cookware Set.
It is a bit on a smaller side. Large lobster will not fit whole, you'd have to break it up.
3rd Customer Review : Does not work with the new Unison line
Unfortunately, despite this being a "universal" calphalon steamer, it does not fit their newest line - the "Unison" nonstick cookware set(Calphalon Unison Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set). Perhaps buying in store it lists on the box all the sets it does fit, but I did not see the info before registering for it online. The same applies to the double boiler. Just a head's up! Overall, though, the quality seems good, I wish it would fit!
